Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment efforts by leveraging effective sourcing strategies to attract active and passive candidates. Uses employee referral, recruiting boards, internet, social media, and industry and community organizations to build a strong talent pool.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to verify if position requirements are met and present top talent to hiring managers.
  • Participate in onboarding workflow by sending and processing new hire paperwork.
  • Attend Universities, Technical Schools, and Engineering Programs Career Fair Events to build brand recognition in supporting our Recruitment Program.
  • Develop & Implement Internship & Mentorship Programs in partnership with Sr. Management.
  • Assists with safety initiatives and programs.
  • Coordinates Plant Tours, Events, Volunteer initiatives, and Scholarship Program.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Human Resource experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing setting or related area or has equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • A minimum of one year of experience supporting similar primary responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Strong and innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick effective decisions.
  • Advanced PC skills with experience in Microsoft office products such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% to attend recruiting events.
