Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs the duties of their assigned position
  • Leads and/or supports employees to lead daily huddles
  • Reviews schedule with supervisor and assigns employees to perform work to meet customer demand while maintaining expected efficiency and quality levels.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of team area through the 5S+1 (Safety) audits performed by team employees
  • Communicates with supervision, quality, maintenance, and engineering as appropriate for the issues that may have an effect on safety, quality, efficiency, or meeting customer demand
  • Collaborates with supervision on effectively resolving issues relating to discipline, attendance, safety, and productivity
  • Provides input involving hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions
  • Works with Quality to provide on the job training for all new hires and transfers
  • Supports efficiency improvements efforts and maintains minimum efficiency levels as defined by management
  • Supports Lean program through involvement in Kaizen events, time studies, cleanliness, and organization activities, training, and sustainment to documented procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned.
