Main Responsibilities
- Making outbound sales calls based on provided leads; reaching decision makers; qualifying the business
- New account development
- Post-sales support
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter who will focus on business development and account management within the OEMs and Tier 1 accounts, Experience selling the automotive industry is a must.
- At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
- College Diploma or University Degree in a discipline related to the position
- Must be proficient in MS Office suite
- Experience working directly with the large OEMs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills
- Must be driven, sales oriented, and available to handle rejection with resilience
- Dedicated and dependable; Strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong math and technical skills
- Willing to travel
- Knowledge of machine tool, automation and/or vehicle general assembly preferred
