The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing complex aluminum parts for the Aerospace and Defense industry in our new state of the art facility in Exeter NH!  This is a critical role within the well-respected manufacturing group and requires a detailed mind set, a thorough understanding of the impact of machining a quality part and commitment to do whatever it takes to get the job done. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Start to finish set-up and prove out of machined components to receive first piece acceptance while meeting required time constraints.
  • Operate CNC milling machines and perform in process inspection on production jobs.
  • In-process checks using micrometers, calipers and Tesa-Hite.
  • Participate in continuous improvement.
  • Assist in performing in process inspection at other machines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Strong knowledge in all aspects of producing top quality precision aluminum components.
  • Ability to work with internal drawings, travelers, set up sheets, proper fixturing, offset and tool setting, and prove-out of programs.
  • Perform basic edits to programs on Fanuc controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve highly technical problems.
