Primary Responsibilities
Research and Market Analysis
- Research and monitor market conditions within the territory.
- Identify key competitor activities, consumer trends, and new opportunities for growth.
- Analyze and articulate market requirements and product opportunities.
- Identify and recommend potential product enhancements or innovations.
- Develop a deep understanding of industry practices, competitor offerings, and product specifications.

Sales Growth and Account Management
- Drive sales within the assigned region by acquiring new customers and expanding business with existing accounts.
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the regional market.
- Define sales targets, track progress, and adjust strategies to meet goals.
- Foster long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Product Knowledge and Customer Support
- Provide expert knowledge of National Strand’s products to customers, assisting with technical inquiries, product specifications, and pricing.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams for product development, ensuring customer needs are understood and met.
- Ensure customers are supported throughout the sales process, from inquiry to after-sale services.
- Develop and maintain accurate customer data, including forecasts and account profiles.

Customer Engagement and Marketing
- Work with the marketing team to develop local campaigns and events to generate product awareness and drive sales.
- Attend and represent Davis Wire at relevant industry trade shows, conferences, and events.
- Provide customer feedback to the product development and marketing teams to enhance future sales efforts.
- Conduct presentations to potential clients, demonstrating product value and benefits.
- Develop sales materials, training tools, and other resources to support the sales process.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. An advanced degree is a plus.
- 7 to 10 years of sales experience, ideally in industrial materials, building products, or steel.
- Experience in sales and customer relationship management within the construction or building materials industry is highly desirable.
- Strong business and quantitative analysis skills.
- Solid understanding of sales processes, product management, and marketing principles.
- Experience managing multiple customer accounts and achieving sales targets.
