The Position

We are currently looking for a Marketing Engineer, specialized in electrical components, to join our team.

The Marketing Engineer provides both pre-sales and technical marketing support to our developing customer base. The ideal candidate has an Electrical Engineering aptitude, business development attitude, and customer application problem-solving orientation. Success in this role leads to career progression within Sales and Marketing Management.

Job Description            

Primary Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert for incoming chat and technical requests from www.ohmite.com
• Hold instructional demonstrations that help customers understand the technical aspects of our products
• Participate in virtual sales calls with Manufacturer Representatives and Distributors
• Create technical documentation and support materials such as competitive cross reference data, application guides, and customer-facing presentations.
• Research competitor products.
• Train internal and external Sales and Marketing staff  

Job Requirements      

 Education

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline

Skills & Relevant Work Experience 

• Technical writing skills
• Applications knowledge related to power, heat, energy, noise filtering
• Social-selling literacy
• Client-facing soft sales skills
• Some experience in B2B sales within manufacturing industry
• Ability to work closely with Engineering and Operations associates to satisfy customer needs and develop new products
• Data collection and analysis
• Ability to handle multiple projects
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management tools
• Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and relationship-building skills
• Proficient with MS Office platform and familiar with other business systems software
• High levels of enthusiasm, self-motivation, and organizational ability
