Job Description

SUMMARY:

Programs CMM.  Performs testing and supports data analysis.  Effectively documents and communicates results in a timely fashion working closely with Production and other Manufacturing personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create programs for CMM and Keyence measurements
• Independently perform inspections and tests to qualify material (Receiving, Set-up, In-process, and Final inspections)
• Record, summarize, and report on testing data
• Perform measurements for First Article Inspections
• Complete quality related and continuous improvement project work
• Participate in investigations of root cause and corrective actions, implement preventative actions
• Responsible for cleanliness of his/her own work area and the general housekeeping of the Company
• Completion of other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE: 

• Skilled at understanding of Blueprints
• Advanced knowledge of geometric tolerance
• Skilled at using of metrology hand tools and gauges
• High school diploma
• Attention to detail a must
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
