The Position 

The Maintenance Technician will be reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor of National Standard at the Stillwater, Oklahoma location.  In this position, you will be installing, maintaining, upgrading and fabricating machinery and equipment.   

 Job Description

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Dismantle, repair and assemble machinery and components
  • Gearbox repair
  • Welding (mig/tig/stick)
  • Rigging
  • Pneumatics
  • Piping for steam, compressed air, acids and caustics
  • Pump troubleshooting and repair
  • Boiler operation and maintenance
  • Familiarity with industrial electrical systems (relays, motors, switches)

Job Requirements 

  • Manufacturing environment experience required
  • Must be safety oriented
  • Must be able to work 12 hour shifts from 8 pm – 8 am


Physical Requirements 

  • Able to stand, walk, use hands, talk and hear for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to push and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
