Job Description

Drives Business Results –

  • Identify and develop new part sales initiatives while optimizing the ongoing customer service relationships to maximize revenue and support the dealers.
  • Manage Customer Service Representatives and Inside Sales Representatives daily activities, counseling, coaching, and training in order to achieve monthly sales goals.
  • Interact with key stakeholders inside and outside the company with a primary focus on the strategic initiatives that will drive the business and technical aspects of the parts department.
  • Develop dealer relationships throughout time in order to understand the dealers parts consumption, and purchasing performance. Develop actionable reports to discuss with dealers on how to best grow the Barko parts sales segment of their business.
  • Visit, call or correspond with dealers on a regular basis to understand their needs, issues, and opportunities.
  • Identify, suggest, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Provides Data Analysis & Insights –

  • Collect and analyze data on previous year’s performance: Market, Channel, Key Dealers, Program, Product, and Competitive Analysis.
  • Perform SKU rationalization and ensures effective pricing strategies.
  • Develop quote, market share, dealer inventory, and sales reports.
  • Develop forecast, bookings, backlog, and build/shipment reports.
  • Using the data collected provide analysis and insights to support development and execution of aftermarket parts sales initiatives that support growth by developing a strategic plan for the parts portfolio.
  • Support the collection and analysis of data related to market trends, product claims, SWOT, equipment change, brand reputation, pricing and competitive analysis and trends.
  • Research appropriate data resources for compilation and interpretation through development of Power BI visualizations and dashboards.

Experience and Education:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in Parts Sales and/or Management.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Mathematical Skills:  Excellent math skills that includes the ability to analyze data and provide business insights based off of the data.
  • Language Skills:  Ability to speak effectively before customers. 

Supervisory Responsibility - This position has Supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work - This is a full-time position. Work hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or as business needs determine. 

Travel – This position requires occasional travel, including travel outside the local area and overnight.

Work Environment - The position operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, iPads, phones, copiers and filing cabinets.  The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts.
