Job Description

The person to fill this role will work closely with and supports the Quality Engineer(s) to complete Quality projects.  He/ She should be able to take information from control plans/PFMEA’s and convert that information to Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, and Quality forms.  This is a highly detail-oriented role, requiring familiarity with manufacturing and production processes combined with extensive knowledge of specifications and product testing. 

What you will be responsible for: 

  • Conduct product tests and assessment, identify product defects, support improvements, ensure compliance to quality procedures, provide recommendations to improve current procedures, and ensure implementation of the improvements after approval. 
  • Analyze data to identify trends and make suggestions to improve product/processes.  Maintain quality records so that they are easily accessed when they are needed.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Self-starter with good mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and effective organizational skills. 
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with government personnel, production personnel, and management using integrity, diplomacy, and tact.
  • Must possess a positive attitude conducive with the company’s environment. 
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Working knowledge of standard weights and measures.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and equipment. Working knowledge of advanced math skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office with competency in MS Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety procedures. Familiarity with calibration methods and procedures. 
  • Familiarity with MIL/NAS standards and Government contracts preferred.
  • Must possess excellent people skills to successfully interact with all levels of employees.


  • Preferred: 2+ years as Quality Assurance Representative or Quality Technician.
