MAIN DUTIES



 

CO-ORDINATE/ CONTROL   ACTIVITIES CONCERNED WITH PARTS SALES SUPPORT

-           WORKING ALONGSIDE CURRENT TEAM TO PROMOTE AFTER SALES SERVICE [ RPG ] AND UPSELLING OF UPGRADES

-           RESPOND TO RFQ’S AND RAISE QUOTATIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER.

-           CHASING OF SUCH QUOTATIONS TO ESTABLISH REASONS FOR CONVERSION OR NON -CONVERSION TO ORDER.

-           ASSIST IN PROCESSING OF INCOMING ORDERS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TO CUSTOMER.

-           HANDLING OF CUSTOMER TECHNICAL ENQUIRIES.

-           DEVELOP EXTENDED CUSTOMER RELATIONS INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY WITH CUSTOMER BASE

-           MONITOR AND MAINTAIN PRICING STRUCTURES AND IDENTIFY PROBLEM ISSUES

-           UNDERTAKING END USER ACCOUNT VISITS TO ENCOURAGE SALES AND REPORTING ON SUCH EVENTS

-           COMPILATION OF WEEKLY AND MONTHLY REPORTING FIGURES AS REQUESTED BY GENERAL MANAGER OR AS REQUIRED BY PARENT COMPANY.

-           MAINTAIN ACCURATE AND UP TO DATE RECORDS.

-           LIAISE WITH LOGISTICS CONTROLLER TO ASSIST WITH SAFETY STOCK PLANS

 

ASSOCIATED DUTIES

 

-          TO WORK AS PART OF A SMALL TEAM IN STRIVING TOWARDS INCREASING SALES AND EXCEEDING GOALS SET FOR BARTELL MACHINERY LTD.

 

ADVISE OF ANY COMMERCIAL OR  BUSINESS ACTIVITY SOLUTIONS WHICH MAY ENHANCE BARTELL’S PROFITABILITY.

 

TO WORK WITHIN HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS AT ALL TIMES AND REPORT TO MANAGEMENT ANY CIRCUMSTANCES OR WORKING PRACTICES THAT MAY CONTRAVENE SUCH REGULATIONS.

TO DEPUTISE WITHIN LOGISTICS AREA [ TO COVER ABSENCE] SO AS TO MAINTAIN WORKFLOW.

ANY OTHER REASONABLE REQUEST MADE BY MANAGEMENT TO ENSURE THE SMOOTH RUNNING OF THE SITE OPERATIONS INCLUSIVE OF COVERING FOR ABSENCE OR HOLIDAY.

                                                                         

LOCATION;                            WORKING FOR A SUCCESFUL AND PROGRESSIVE COMPANY BASED IN TELFORD SHROPSHIRE, WITH A MAINLY EUROPEAN HIGH PROFILE CUSTOMER BASE. MARKET SECTOR IS TYRE AND WIRE PRODUCERS.

 

ROLE;                                     AID AND DEVELOP SALES ACTIVITIES AND GROWTH WITHIN THE RPG [ REPLACEMENT PARTS GROUP ] SECTOR OF THE BUSINESS

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE;              POSSESS SUFFICIENT BUSINESS ACUMEN TO SPEARHEAD A SALES GROWTH PLAN.

                                                HAVE A STRONG MECHANICAL APTITUDE IN FAST MOVING MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT ENVIONMENT

                                                EXCELLENT PROBLEM  SOLVING  SKILLS

                                                GOOD COMMUNICATOR

                                                ABILITY TO TRAVEL WITHIN GEOGRAPHIC REGION UP TO 50% OF  THE TIME
