Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Daily Priorities:

  • Utilize Ancra Quality Collaboration by Design software (QCBD) to manage the daily performance and status of all Ancra suppliers.
  • Facilitate all Supplier Corrective Actions and ensure sustainment through periodic onsite visits
  • Perform periodic on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
  • Maintain supplier’s latest certifications using QCBD
  • Maintain Ancra’s Approved Processors List using Ancra’s File Transfer Portal (FTP) site
  • Review supplier manufacturing processes (using Ancra PUR-100 form), collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities.
  • Familiarity with aerospace plating and processing standards, such as anodizing, chem.-film, passivation, chrome plating, silver plating, etc…
  • Facilitate the escalation of unresolved supplier quality issues within assigned projects and suppliers
  • Assist the addition / deletion of suppliers based upon performance
  • Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact
  • Able to meet daily throughput requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 preferred.
  • Familiarity with aerospace plating and processing standards, such as anodizing, chem.-film, passivation, chrome plating, silver plating, etc.
  • Good communication, reading, and computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Fluency in Spanish is beneficial but not required.

Years of Experience required: 5-10 years mechanical inspection experience.

Education Rqts: Min Associates Degree or Equivalent. Trade / Vocational programs welcomed.

Working Conditions:  Production/Shop floor environment. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.  Ability to work extended hours (overtime) as required to support production.
