The Position

We are currently looking for a Western Regional Manager, specialized in electrical components, to join our team.

The Regional Manager will collaborate with Manufacturer Representatives and Channel Partners to win new revenue within a diverse territory. The ideal candidate has an Electrical Engineering aptitude, strong business acumen, and customer application problem-solving orientation.

Job Description           

Primary Responsibilities

  • Shape the sales strategy for the territory with Manufacturers Representatives and Distributors
  • Drive repeatable processes for opportunity review and closure
  • Build new revenue with both standard and customized product solutions.
  • Develop a strong rapport with Design and Component Engineers at customers
  • Convert Sales Qualified Leads into new revenue.
  • Prospecting and synergistic selling  
  • Understand technology trends and articulate into new product ideas
  • Influence the decision-making for customers and defend existing business.
  • Drive for results with all stakeholders to deliver new revenue quickly.
  • Create effective business solutions to capture additional market share
  • Plan and manage the execution of New Product Introductions
  • Project credibility for Ohmite within the territory
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with our Engineering Team customer requirements for customized solutions.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

 

Job Requirements      

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline

Skills & Relevant Work Experience 

  • Five plus years of sales experience with electronic components and systems
  • Social-selling literacy
  • Maintain opportunity sales funnel for new and repeat business
  • Experience in B2B sales within manufacturing industry
  • Ability to work closely with Engineering and Operations associates to satisfy customer needs and develop new products
  • Effective negotiation and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and make sound decisions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient with MS Office platform and familiar with other business systems software
  • High levels of energy, self-motivation, and organizational ability
  • Field “presence,” virtually, and in-person.
