This Electrical Engineer position is for an opening within our Bartell Engineering Team. The Electrical Programming Engineer 2 will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill and Experience
Advanced designs of new products or re-design product software. Understanding of development of existing products for schematics, control cabinets, layouts, etc.
oUtilize leading edge software and tools.
oDesign projects must be done in a timely manner.
oDesigns must follow all safety requirements.
oDesign within the specifications for the product being mindful of cost, manufacturability, reliability and service requirements.

Perform commissioning and debug of products.
oAble to energize machine safely and competently, ready for wet test and SAT.
oAssure product is as designed.
oReview/approve all applicable requests for change.
oAssure proper documentation has been recorded.
oAssure product meets specifications.
oMaintain a working knowledge of machine process and operation.

Work in a team environment.
oMentor other engineers.
oLead team meetings, design reviews, machine reviews, kick-off meetings.
oInteract with other departments, including Manufacturing, TSS, Sales and Purchasing.

Job Requirements:
Education
oBachelors degree in Electrical engineering with 5 years experience or 10 years as designer/engineer.

Skills Relevant Work Experience
oKnowledgeable in PLCs, AC and DC drives, motion controls and operator interface units.
oMust be able to create all documentation for assembly.
oComputer skills must be excellent.
oAutoCAD would be a plus.

Travel requirements up to 25-50
