Job Description

Broad Functions and Objectives:

Use basic processes to set up, adjust, and operate assigned machines and auxiliary equipment to produce wire and wire products.


Principal Accountabilities/Duties:


  1. Read, understand and follow production schedule. Interpret and follow basic written instructions, drawings, and documents

  2. Perform setups on assigned machine(s)

  3. Detect and report faulty processes and identify opportunities for improvement

  4. Maintain proper quality specifications.

  5. Maintains standard housekeeping standards.

  6. Observes all safety rules including reporting of all industrial accidents and any unsafe conditions.




Required Experience:


  1. Basic understanding of production and machine operation

  2. Ability to use tools and precision equipment

  3. Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent use of arms and legs, and climbing.




Education Requirements: High School or Equivalent
