Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the creation and administration of Revit models and shop drawings adapted from architectural and structural plans to be used by project personnel in the erection of concrete forming systems.
  • Participates in and oversees the preparation of accurate formwork layout drawings.
  • Manages the engineering and modeling needs during the planning and estimating stages of projects to ensure the most efficient, safe, and economical form system are incorporated into the project design.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves concerns regarding structural design with project team.
  • Oversees and coordinates material purchases, deliveries, tracking and forecasting ensuring maximum utilization of Ceco's physical resources.
  • Works closely with the project team monitoring the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications (An exception may be made for an internal candidate where a more qualified candidate is not available.)

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related engineering degree plus a minimum of seven years' work experience performing similar primary position responsibilities exceeding performance expectations. An exception may be made for an internal candidate where a more qualified candidate is not available.
  • PE, Professional Engineering license.
  • Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
  • Expertise with reading structural drawings and performing computer-aided design utilizing formwork engineering methods, such as BIM Modeling and AutoCAD.
