Key Responsibilities and Priorities:

  • Manages and effectively directs a team of Regional Sales Managers, Manufacturers Representatives and Distributors to engage with key customers
  • Coordinates the development of sales objectives and strategies to drive business at target accounts.
  • Implements daily, weekly and monthly managerial cadences with sales team as well as internal stakeholders
  • Increases business among existing customers and promotes the organization to new customers to meet annual business growth objectives
  • Drives commercial excellence, supports strategic sales initiatives, and fosters excellent communications between the disciplines of engineering, product, operations and the executive teams within the Company.
  • Provides management with information used to evaluate sales opportunities
  • Actively participate in strategic leadership of Ohmite
  • Travel may be as high as 60% annually

The primary specifics of the job will be to:
1.) Create opportunities, manage these opportunities and close opportunities, while measuring where in the process each sale is either with a creation “funnel” system or a CRM.
2.) Work with engineering and operations teams to design in custom solutions into identified OEM customers resulting in revenue to Ohmite while directing the regional managers and rep organizations.
3.) implementation of new selling activity into new industries and driving the strategic direction of sales to fit with the overall strategic direction of Ohmite.
4.) reporting sales results to senior platform leadership. This role is on the leadership team of Ohmite and will have a key part in defining strategy and addressing other business challenges as they arise.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or most preferably electrical engineering
  • Minimum of 8+ years of demonstrated success in sales management, and complete competence in developing and implementing sales strategies with successes vs. budgets
  • Must demonstrate a high level of working and communication experience with distribution and manufacturers reps
  • Ability to build and manage sales funnel in order to achieve or exceed budget objectives
  • Demonstrated effectiveness with negotiation skills and relationship management
  • Ability to thrive in a stretch goal environment
  • Strong cross functional collaboration skills to deliver results; key stakeholders include Product Management, Inside Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Production
  • Excellent presentation skills, as well as, oral and written communication skills
